The Beelzebush must have felt some obligation to follow his FISA whine with a press conference, so after 11 minutes of (insert baby crying here) flinging large balls of bull dung at the brave democratic representatives that are insisting on no immunity for telecoms that illegally wiretapped US citizens from the day after Bush took the oath of office, the Liar in Chief took his first question; four of which I found worthy of comment:
1) At 7:33 PT Mike Emanuel of Faux News asked Bush if the democratic reprentatives blocking the FISA bill unless the immunity for telcoms is dropped are betting American lives for political purpose — and I thought Jeff Gannon had slithered back to his webpage.
2) At 7:35 Mike Abramowitz asked about Obama as president communicating directly with Raul Castro, to which Bush responded he wouldn’t embrace Castro. Abramowitz attempted to clarify by changing "embrace" to "talk to" and Bush then expressed his man-crush with Abramowitz by telling him he wanted to hug him.
3) At 7:42 Peter Maer of CBS radio asked Bush about the economy with $4/gal gas. Bush seemed totally out of touch with reality. "You’re predicting $4/gal gas?" Bush asked Maer. "No, analysts are," answered Maer. Bush then went on with his answer, but the deer-in-the-headlights look was like when George HW Bush went into a grocery store when he was campaigning for reelection in 1992 and didn’t know the price of a gallon of milk.
4) At 7:44 the next question was a four parter from Ken (no accreditation was given) about the financing and disclosure of contributors for the Bush Library. Bush dodged and weaved and then ran square into the fourth part "What about foreign contributors?" Well, there may be some, but Bush doesn’t have time to pay attention to that while "frankly we’ve been focused elsewhere like on gasoline prices." EXCUSE ME but didn’t you just less than five minutes ago stare blankly at Peter Maer when he reported to you that analysts predict $4/gal gas next month? What absolute bull shit you freaking dunce. You have absolutley no idea of what this economy has done to any family making under $250K/year; and believe me brother and sisters, we come in at about 20% of that. I rode my bicycle to work most of last summer and I’ll be on it earlier and more often this year.
To Bush and Cheney I say Impeachment, Idictment, Incarceration…
